Due to
the sales generated at Launceston being far greater than we anticipated our
10,000 square feet warehouse has become too small for our operations.
We
recently exchanged contracts on a land at Trethorne (a few miles outside of
Launceston) which will form part of a new industrial estate. Last week the
diggers moved in to cut the earth to start to form our site. Steel will be
delivered on 5th August and roadways /
infrastructure on the site is to be built and it is anticipated that the new
warehouse will be completed end of October / early November with Operations to
be transferred soon after.
Our new
site will be 20,000 square feet and will provide improved office facilities for
both Russell and Simon along with a larger kitchen area. The new warehouse will
increase the capacity of Launceston to hold / receive more stock.
We will
continue to provide progress on this exciting new project other the next few
months.
